Program Highlights

Studies include a strong core of courses focused on research methods, ethics, health systems, policy, and the social determinants of health; including topics such as health psychology, Indigenous health and wellness, poverty and social policy, program evaluation, and health equity. Students then choose from a wide range of electives to tailor their learning to their individual interests, with options in applied research, medical anthropology, environment and health, addictions, housing, family violence, nutrition, and urban health.
