This two-year Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Health and Social Impact equips students with interdisciplinary skills and knowledge to address complex health and well-being challenges. Graduates will explore how systems, policies, cultural contexts, and social determinants influence health outcomes at individual, community, and population levels.
Program Highlights
Studies include a strong core of courses focused on research methods, ethics, health systems, policy, and the social determinants of health; including topics such as health psychology, Indigenous health and wellness, poverty and social policy, program evaluation, and health equity. Students then choose from a wide range of electives to tailor their learning to their individual interests, with options in applied research, medical anthropology, environment and health, addictions, housing, family violence, nutrition, and urban health. This combination of core and elective courses allows students to personalize their diploma toward careers in health systems, policy development, community programming, or applied evaluation.
