What to Expect
Check-in
Start your day at the R.J. Surtees Student Athletics Centre lobby to check-in, receive your campus map and pick up an event schedule.
Campus Tours
Wander through key spots on campus with our friendly Student Ambassadors as your guides. You’ll visit the Athletic Centre, explore the Harris Learning Library, stop by the NUSU Student Centre, and begin your tour in the Main Building’s front lobby.
Residence Tours
Curious about living on campus? Drop by Governors House for a tour of our award-winning, suite-style residences—with private rooms guaranteed for first-year students coming from high school.
Student Support Fair
Meet the teams behind financial aid, student life, athletics, accessibility services, and more. You’ll also connect with students from clubs and societies across campus.
Program Info Sessions
Drop in on a session led by our approachable professors to learn more about your program of interest. Get a feel for what classes will be like and ask your questions!
Fine Arts Students – Monastery Hall Tour
Hop on the bus for a quick ride to Monastery Hall and see where our Fine Arts students get inspired by the picturesque surroundings. Bus departs from the R.J. Surtees Athletic Centre.
Nursing Students/Social Work Students – Interprofessional Simulation Labs
Join us for a tour of our new Interprofessional Simulation Labs. See where our students learn and practice their skills in various simulated patient case scenarios. Meet us in the Green Lounge.
Physical & Health Education
Physical and Health Education Students – Centre for Physical and Health Education Lab Tours Meet us at the Living Wall (in R.J. Surtees Athletic Centre) to tour the facility. You’ll have a chance to check out some of the innovative labs our students learn in such as the exercise physiology lab, anatomy lab and biomechanics lab.
